Moody (slowed + reverb) — a curated group exhibition with Tintin Cooper, Sirawit Chatu, Hadrien Gerenton, Pichaya Khunnavat, Pokchat Worasub, Thanawat Numcharoen, Unchalee Anantawat, Warot Jarusrikul, Butsapasila Wanjing, and Wannapol Saenkham, the diverse voices that helped define TARS Unlimited as a cultural interzone. Positioned in a transitional space between escalators the installation mirrors our ongoing approach: fluid, in motion, and firmly rooted in the intersections of disciplines, contexts, and temporalities.
Rather than adhering to a single artistic category or generation, moody (slowed + reverb) reveals a constellation of works — some produced specifically for this pop-up, others drawn from past exhibitions and exchange residencies developed across Bangkok and Europe. Together, they form a layered snapshot of the creative rhythms we continue to cultivate.
The title moody speaks to shifts — in form, in tone in curatorial direction. It references not only the emotional and chromatic range of the selected works but the unpredictable momentum of artistic choices. Slowed + reverb, meanwhile, gestures to a re-contextualized temporality — a subtle nod to how reinterpretation creates entirely new meanings and movements, echoing strategies embedded in art history. This is not just a show, but an ethos, an articulation of mood, pace, and positioning. A glimpse into how we move, reflect, and resonate.
